Introfee.com announced that they want a video of a live birth for their upcoming Superbowl ad. They are announcing the birth of their website on February 3, and would like to feature the footage in their commercial. Interesting…featuring a live birth to announce a website launch…now why didn’t I think of that?
What’s In It for You?$?
Introfee.com is offering $1000 for clear footage of a live birth (must show emergence of baby with umbilical cord and must contain sound). If you think you have the video they want and would like to submit it to them, do the following:
- Upload your video to YouTube (or another online video host)
- Insert the tag ‘introfee’ into your video upload
- Send the URL of your footage to:http://www.introfee.com/birth-video

This promotion reeks of SCAM. Why would someone with enough money solicit amateur video? Why not pay the money for professionally produced footage (and make it look amateur if that’s the look they’re after.) And why would a company with the money for a super bowl ad not be able to afford real DNS rather than zoneedit.com, as they’re using? I’ll bet money that this is a scam.
Scam? Maybe. I don’t know that much about them as they do not offer much information on their site. This is NOT an endorsement post for them…I only blog what about what I read and see. I will update this post whence I have more info. on introfee.
