Black Friday is about a week away so you might want to start jotting down your shopping lists. Here are a few online and in-store sales news:
CompUSA
CompUSA will have an early in-store Black Friday Sale on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday the 22nd at 9pm - 12a.m.. They’ll also be having an online only sale beginning midnite on Thanksgiving Day.
The traditional Black Friday Sale will be on Friday the 23rd at 5a.m.-9p.m, however there will be a special sale with “deeply discounted tech products” from 5a.m.-12p.m.
In addition to Early Thursday and Black Friday, there’s Cyber Monday. Cyber Monday deals will be posted on compusa.com at 12:01a.m on Monday, November 26.
Tiger Direct’s Pink Friday drive will start on the 23rd and run untill December 21st. The ‘Pink’ in Pink Friday is in support of the Susan G. Komen For the Cure organization. Tiger Direct expects to donate more than $250,000 to the fight against breast cancer.
‘6 rounds. 18 ridiculous deals.’ Customers vote on 6 rounds of items set at a ridiculously low price (ie a Nintendo Wii for $79, a Samsung BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player for $149, an HP TX1305US Notebook for $299, and a Samsung LNT4661F 46″ 1080p LCD HDTV for $719). Each week, starting on November 22nd, the item with the most amount of votes in each round will be offered for sale…1 round per week for six weeks. There is a set amount of inventory for sale at that price, so customers who will be offered the deal will be chosen randomly. In order to find out if you’re offered the deal, you need to check back at Amazon on the day the sale is being offered. In addition to the ‘6 rounds’ deals, there will be a sale on Black Friday. No details on specific items for the Black Friday Sale were released yet.
Meijer has both a Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday Sale. Sales start at 6a.m. and 5a.m. respectively.
