I’ve recently just begun to explore the world of niche blogging, and discovered for myself that it’s a great money making method. Granted I’ve just started out, I’m not making a ton of cash, but a couple of my niche sites are starting to make a decent side money income.

Whether you pronounce it neesh or nitch, it doesn’t really matter. Personally, I prefer neesh. Niches are defined as a specialized target market characterized by a particular interest, topic or subject.
Niche blogging is a blog focusing on just one very specific topic.
Niche blogging is great because it’s fairly low-maintenance. The blog platform is used, but you do not necessarily have to constantly update and continually add content as with flagship blogging.
Yes, niche blogs are easy to monetize and have great potential to be profitable. My main income from my niche sites comes from Adsense. With the proper placement, you should be able to make a decent income.
However, in most cases if not all, in order for your blog to possibly become profitable, the subject you’re producing content for should lead to a service or consumer product sale as the solution.
Basically, there are five steps:
After you’ve done those five steps, all you’ll need to do is perform some basic on-site SEO, and get started on linkbuilding.
I realized that I’ve only touched on the basics of this money making technique, but I meant for this post to whet your appetite for starting up one of your own. I’ll be researching and creating a few new niche blogs in the week to come, so if you’re down for a challenge…so am I.
I’m still in the process of experimentation also, and I’ll go more into depth about doing keyword research tools, and expound more on measures that I’ve taken. So, if you’re not already swamped with work and experimentation, who’s up for a challenge?

Maybe you have any tips? I certainly don’t think money making blog is a niche topic.
Great tips here, thanks. Have you seen the new tumblr blogs yet? They are really easy to set up, and not as confusing as wordpress, blogger, etc. Still, thanks for the ideas.
Thanks for the info, will give this some serious thought

Yes, I’ve taken a look at Tumblr and microblogging. As of right now, I’m not making use of this media as Wordpress has far more flexibility, independence, and manual features. I believe microblogs are great assets to use in conjunction with wordpress when it comes to niche blogging. Feel free to expound and let us know what you’ve been doing with Tumblr
