The term ‘Get paid to’ refers to websites and programs that pay you cash or offer you other incentives for completing trial offers or surveys, signing up for programs, and the like.
How it basically works is you register (name, email, create a password, and payment method and info.) and sign up for the program at the website. Once this is done, they’ll provide you with a list of offers to complete. Once they have successfully tracked your completed offers and you meet the minimum requirements for payout, you get paid in whatever form you have agreed to.
Some people consider this method of making money online a scam, but I have used the following program when I first got started with discovering methods for generating an income online, and I managed to make several hundred dollars off of it with very little skill or work.
Treasure Trooper is the get paid to site I’ll be talking about in this post. It’s a United States based program and couple of years old, so perhaps you have already heard of them. Treasure Trooper pays you to complete offers, do surveys, and sign up for other programs.
Here are some of the easier, higher paying offers:
If you haven’t registered for eBay, you could register with them or register someone you know, and they’ll pay you $5.00. A lot of offers are free to do, however the higher paying offers require you to use a credit card.
Sign up for a free credit report (credit card required but no purchase necessary) and receive $10.00.
The theme of the Treasure Trooper site is hunting for treasure, which makes it a little more entertaining for users (as opposed to another gpt such as Cash Crate). In addition to getting cash, you may also receive virtual silver and gold coins and pearls which can be redeemed for amazon.com gift certificates, ipods, guides to other money making features of the program, and free referrals.
The minimum payout is $20.00. You may choose from 2 payment methods: 1) Paypal 2) Check mailed to your physical address. Payouts are made every month between the 20th-25th.
The Treasure Trooper forums are where members go to post shots of payment proof and discuss strategies for completing offers, as well as form an online social community where the common ground is using Treasure Trooper as an online income platform. The majority of the top users who have made the most money from TT can be found in the forums.
I have used the forum in the past, and my questions were answered rather promptly. Be sure to perform a forum search before asking a basic question, and you should be received there in a positive manner.
Treasure Trooper does pay if you follow the terms and conditions laid out.
If you decide to do sign-ups and trials that require the use of a credit card, be sure to keep track of them carefully. If you do decide that you do not want to continue with a service after the trial offer, keeping track of termination deadlines are essential. This can become rather mundane and a big hassle.
Spam email & regular postal mail can add up after a while. Though, I must say that I’ve only received one or two spam postal mail every several months so for most this may not be that great of a hassle.
If you do decide to sign up for Treasure Trooper, I suggest making use of their forums for updated tips and advice. Also, create a few other email accounts for completing email offers as most of these types of offers will send you hundreds of spam emails on a daily basis.
Here are some tools I recommend getting:
Ccleaner - A tool for erasing cookies and temp files in between completing offers. They encourage you to clear cookies before and after completing an offer to ensure maximum tracking of your completion. You will only get credit for doing offers if they are able to track it.
RoboForm - An automatic form filler so you don’t have to redundantly fill out one registration after another after another after another…
