Giving Build A Niche Store BANS a Try

Wordpress is a great platform for starting niche sites but expanding your portfolio, as far as internet marketing and making money online options and methods are concerned, is viewed as a must-do by most established online marketers.

In light of this, I’ll be starting projects on making money with BANS. BANS stands for Build a Niche Store. For those of you not famililar with BANS, it’s an eBay affiliate website builder. It allows you to setup a full site based around a specific product or niche in minutes. I’ll be doing a first impression review of BANS as well as follow-up reviews on it, so if you’re truly interested in creating BANS, perhaps you’ll want to stay tuned for those upcoming reviews.

For my BANS projects, I’m using the following resources:

ebaY Partner Network (ebaY affiliate registration)
Wordtracker (keyword research tool)
HostGator (web hosting)
GoDaddy (domain registrar)

BANS is definitely a must for my BANS project (duh! lol). So far, I’ve found BANS extremely easy to install. The initial setup is also a breeze. It’s very helpful if you know a little CSS and maybe even php to tweak the templates.

ebaY has recently just set up their own partner network and no longer has ties with Commission Junction. If you would like to become an ebaY affiliate, you need to register at the ebaY partner network. I inserted the link to their registration page in the list above

I’m using the 7-day free trial of Wordtracker at present. Wordtracker seems to have great features, but they haven’t been very functional these past few days. I mentioned in a previous post that I have yet to invest in a good keyword tool. I’ll play around with Wordtracker a bit more before I come to a conclusion about their keyword services. I’ll also post a review of Wordtracker in the future.

I’ve been using HostGator and GoDaddy for a while now and they have been good to me. HostGator is working really well with BANS, so I feel I can honestly recommend them. Even the makers of BANS recommend using HostGator in their instruction and setup manual.
