iJailbreak Released!

The first automated iPod Touch jailbreaking app for Mac systems was released today. I bet you’re wondering who created it, huh? A 13 year old programming that goes by the name of AriX. The iworld is going crazy over this application today. Kudos to you, Arix! Currently iJailbreak is only compatible with Intel and Tiger. According to a statement made by Arix himself, keep on the lookout for a PPC version.

For those of you who don’t know what Jailbreak is, it’s an automated GUI (graphic user interface) program designed to put third-party applications on an iPod Touch portable media player. It sounds nifty but if anything goes wrong with your Apple iPod Touch, don’t expect any sympathy from Apple…I’m pretty sure hacking into your Apple iPod or Apple iPod Touch will void your warranty.

PC users can get a similar Windows Apple iPod Touch hack application here.

Using the jailbreak in your ipod has pros and cons. But for me, id rather not use it if it will void the waranty of my ipod. I’ll just tame myself and wait for the program same of that which is safer to use for my ipod.
