This is an update and FAQ for those of you participating in Project Fresh Slant. (*If you haven’t heard of the project, here’s the link to the original Project Fresh Slant post.)

When is the Fresh Slant Launch?

Fresh Slant launched on Wednesday, December 19.

When is the next Fresh Slant Blog review?

The next Fresh Slant review will be posted on January 2, 2008.

When Will Reviews Be Posted? What do Participants do to Participate?

There will be one featured blog per week. Fresh Slant reviews will be posted once a week every Wednesday.

During this week we, as a group, will provide the featured blog in review support, and offer blogging tips and recommendations for improvement. The recommendations should be written in the comments section of the blog’s Fresh Slant Review post here at Fresh Geeks.

This will go on until the following Wednesday when another Fresh Slant review will be posted.

When and How will Blogs Up For a Fresh Slant Review be Chosen?

The next week’s Fresh Slant review will go to a random active participant (As I stated in the original Fresh Slant announcement, everyone who actively participates and contributes to the project will get a turn).

How Will I Know If I Was Chosen to be Featured for a Fresh Slant Review?

I will be contacting reviewees on the Friday before your Fresh Slant review goes up via email to discuss some basic questions concerning the review (your blogging goals, what you would like the review to focus on, your niche, etc.). Please respond as soon as possible so that I can start on your review.

What if I Forget About the Week’s Fresh Slant Review?

I will be sending a friendly reminder to everyone who posted a ‘count me in’ a day or two before the Fresh Slant review is posted.

Where Can I Find a List of Participants & Previously Featured Blogs?

I will update this post every week to keep track of participants and what blogs were reviewed.

Are There Any Other Plans for the Project?

Data will be recorded and progress will be charted so that a repository of ideas and tips can be created in the future.

Can I Ask Questions?

If any of you have questions concerning Project Fresh Slant, you may post them here and I will update the FAQ accordingly. Thanks for supporting the project, and I’m looking forward to working with all of you.
