Motorola RZRs roasting on the grill…Well, at least that’s what it looks like. Actually, what the cell phones are placed on is a charger pad called the Wild Charger. It’s a flat pad with a conductive surface.

Just snap the Wild Charger Adapter to the back of your phone (It either snaps on to the battery cover or replaces the whole thing. No tools are necessary to install the adapter. See the picture below), place it on the pad at whatever angle you please, and as long as the adapter (more…)

Roberts Radio WM201 - Wi-Fi Internet Radio UK

30 October 07

blogging tips example

I came across this nifty-looking gadget (well, it looks like a plain old radio, but the technology it uses is what’s pretty nifty)…

The Roberts WM201 Wi Fi Internet radio.

It allows you to listen to over 6000 stations that broadcast through DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast) . Did I mention this service is subscription-free? Yep, you don’t have to pay for DAB. So, how it works is you plug the radio in, and when it detects a wi-fi signal it transmits radio stations throught DAB if you’re within their service areas.

As of now, it looks like DAB only services areas within the UK. The main function of the radio is meant for listening via wi-fi, but it also has an input for MP3 portable media player devices (such as an iPod)along with the ability to connect to Windows Media Player on your personal computer.

You can purchase the wi-fi radio for the price of 199.99 pounds.
